Analysis using the TISIDB database showed that NRP1 expression was positively related with abundance of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) (Figure 5A) and expression of immunoinhibitory markers (Figure 5B) in nearly all types of cancer, indicating that NRP1 expression could be an independent predictor of immune cell infiltration and response to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs).
