Previous studies have shown that a high expression of CALR has been linked with improved outcomes in some carcinomas, such as colorectal carcinoma (Peng et al., 2010), NSCLC (Fucikova et al., 2016), AML (Schardt et al., 2009), osteosarcoma (Zhang et al., 2017), glioblastoma (Muth et al., 2016), and ovarian carcinoma (Kasikova et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene CALR and ovarian carcinoma.
