T cell quantification analysis objectively revealed significantly more T cells per mm2 in stroma as compared to tumor for all CD4+ T cells (median 11.43 and 30.56 cells per mm2 in tumor and stroma, respectively, p < 0.0001), CD8+ T cells (median 10.11 and 36.71 cells per mm2 in tumor and stroma, respectively, p < 0.0001), and Tregs (median 0.75 and 3.18 cells per mm2 in tumor and stroma, respectively, p value < 0.0001) (Figure 2B). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and neoplasm.
