Data from the TIMER database showed that BAIAP2L2 expression was significantly increased in 10 types of cancer, including bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), LIHC, lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD) and stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) (Figure 1A, p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene BAIAP2L2 and gastric adenocarcinoma.
