To further investigate the extent of this apparent WEE1-mediated G2 checkpoint activation and mitotic entry delay, Ewing sarcoma cells were cotreated with nocodazole and the DDKi TAK-931 with or without increasing concentrations of MK1775 (100 nmol/L–1 μmol/L) for 24 hours and total mitotic cells were measured via FACS and immunoblot. The gene discussed is WEE1; the disease is Ewing sarcoma.
