To our knowledge, among the new fusions identified by ARR and SFU in the ADx-positive samples, only the solute carrier family 34 member 2 (SLC34A2)-ROS1 (sample 3, Table 1, Table S2) is already described as a well-recognized partnership in carcinomas [18, 19], while all the others are unknown/unpublished or complex fusions involving more than 2 partners. This evidence concerns the gene SLC34A2 and carcinoma.
