CRP and hypertensive disorder: The Cox regression analysis reveals the following independent predictors of mortality in the patients suffering from COVID-19 pneumonia: (1) age above 50, (2) in-hospital stays surpassing four days, (3) the bradykinin levels above 220000 pg/ml, (4) the elevated D-dimer, creatinine, and/or CRP, and (5) the presence of comorbidities (hypertension and diabetes) (Table 6).
