Then, we found that immunostaining for Fmo5 and Ggt1 confirmed the proteomics data (Fig. 2F) and showed that significantly lower Fmo5 (Additional file 1: Fig. S4B, P < 0.05, one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison using Holm-Sidak’s multiple comparisons test) and slightly lower Ggt1 levels (Additional file 1: Fig. S4D) were observed in DKD group compared to CT group.
