It has been found that α2AP induces pro-inflammatory cytokine production in macrophages through the ERK1(namely MAPK3)/2 pathway52, and combined with the positive correlation between MAPK3 and Macrophage M0 in the present study, it is therefore hypothesized that MAPK3 can induce inflammation through macrophage activation thus leading to LN progression. This evidence concerns the gene MAPK3 and lobular neoplasia.
