To test whether SMARCC1 or SMARCC2 is regulated by SET7, we used siRNA-mediated silencing of SET7 with two representative siRNAs41 and found that loss of SET7 indeed increased the levels of both SMARCC1 and SMARCC2 proteins in human cervical carcinoma HeLa cells (Fig. 1e and Supplementary Fig. 1d). The gene discussed is SMARCC1; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
