Blood tests revealed severe hypercalcemia (3.39 mmol/L; reference value [RV] 2.1–2.55), hypophosphatemia (0.58 mmol/L, RV 0.87–1.45), and elevated parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels (4950 pmol/L, RV 95–618), consistent with PHPT (Table 1). Here, PTH is linked to hypercalcemia disease.
