Of all TP53 mutations across the PanCancer cohort from TCGA, which consists of >10,500 tumors (>4,250 TP53 mutations), the TP53 E285K variant was the 30th most frequently mutated amino acid (0.83%), with bladder cancers accounting for 39% (15/38) of the total E285 variants (Fig. 2e). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is urinary bladder carcinoma.
