Further, using immunofluorescence-based co-expression assays, we found that the percentages of USP22/FASN double-stained cells were significantly higher than that of USP22-negative but FASN-positive cells in human CRC specimens (Fig. 3D), suggesting that FASN and USP22 are co-expressed in CRC cells. The gene discussed is FASN; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
