The overexpressed proteins in group C (mainly represented in cluster 3) are mainly involved in tumor growth (Hepatoma-derived growth factor (HDGF), Developmentally regulated GTP-binding protein 2 (DRG2)), but also in virus infection (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit L (EIF3L), Double-stranded RNA-binding protein Staufen homolog 1 (STAU1) and Interferon-induced double-stranded RNA-activated protein kinase (EIF2AK2)) (Supplementary Data 3). This evidence concerns the gene EIF3L and viral infectious disease.
