Nevertheless, increased levels of lactate and LDHA have been frequently reported as markers of poor prognosis in different types of leukemia (22, 23) such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) (24, 25), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) (26–29), chronic lymphoblastic leukemia (CLL) (22) and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) (30). Here, LDHA is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
