NFKB1 and asthma: In a study on cold-induced asthma, XQLT reduced the levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, IL-1β, thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), and nuclear factor kappa light chain enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) in the serum of mice, effectively inhibited the expression of TSLP and NF-κB in lung tissue, and improved the infiltration of lung inflammation, suggesting that the TSLP pathway may be a target of XQLT in treating asthma [15].
