This variant is associated with a higher predisposition for cancers within the Li-Fraumeni Syndrome spectrum (BC, adrenocortical carcinoma, brain cancer, and gastric tumors), and is frequently reported among patients with hereditary BC in Brazil21,36–41, while the frequency of any germline TP53 PV/LPV in other countries can be relatively low1,42. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and Li-Fraumeni syndrome.
