DUXAP8 and breast cancer: EZH2 can also regulate EMT by repressing the expression of E-cadherin,29 and the downregulation of EZH2 expression reduced the stemness of cancer cells in BC.30 Further studies are required to explore the possibility that DUXAP8 affects the EMT process and cancer stem cell properties in an EZH2-dependent manner, thereby leading to the development of radioresistance in BC.
