Bharathy et al., 2018 reported that overexpression of miR-27a led to PAX3:FOXO1 mRNA destabilization and chemotherapy sensitization in RMS both in vitro and in vivo. In fibrosarcoma, miR-197–5 p sensitizes HT1080 cells to doxorubicin by suppressing the expression of MDR genes, ABCC1, and major vault protein (MVP; Jain et al., 2022). Furthermore, miR-206 showed low levels of expression in docetaxel-resistant MFH cells. Mechanistically, miR-206 significantly inhibited MFH proliferative activity by regulating the properties of CSCs (Li et al., 2021a). This evidence concerns the gene PAX3 and fibrosarcoma.
