The three other patients had a maximal ICG score of 1 for at least one PTG left in place, and one patient needed calcium and vitamin D supplementation at discharge for a transient postoperative hypoparathyroidism (parathormone 1.0 pmol/L, albumin-corrected calcium 2.01 mmol/L), which lasted for 3 weeks in total. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is hypoparathyroidism.
