Previously, we found that SMS2 deficiency or inhibition significantly attenuated macrophage M2 polarization and inhibited tumor growth and metastasis in a triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) mouse model, reflecting the role of SMS2 in the M2 polarization of macrophages in breast cancer (Deng et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene SGMS2 and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
