Utilizing the TCGA database, we also found that the overall survival rate (OS) (Figure 1B) and progression-free survival (PFS) (Figure 1C) of patients with high SMS2 expression (SMS2 High) were significantly lower than those of patients with low SMS2 expression (SMS2 Low), implying that SMS2 expression is related to the poor prognosis of pancreatic cancer. Here, SGMS2 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
