As shown in Fig. 2B, the level of SUA was negatively associated with lung function in COPD patients and positively associated with CRP, CRP/ALB, alanine transaminase (ALT), and aspartate transaminase (AST), which suggested that high SUA levels might play a negative role in the process of COPD.
