One lung cancer branch (Inset top left) contains five subtypes of lung cancer (minimally invasive adenocarcinoma, adenocarcinoma, carcinoid, adenosquamous and squamous cell carcinoma), which all contain a similar metabolic profile, and predominantly contain non‐silent mutations to NRF2 pathway genes (NFKB1, NFKB2, RELA, RELB, IKBKB, IKBKE and IKBKG; Appendix Fig S4). The gene discussed is RELB; the disease is squamous cell carcinoma.
