E2F1 and prostate cancer: Detailed analysis of the enriched KEGG pathway “Prostate cancer” showed that 13 genes involved in prostate carcinogenesis (AKT3, CCND1, CDKN1A, CREB5, E2F1, E2F2, MMP3, PDGFRA, PIK3R1, PTEN, RB1, SOS1, and TCF7L1) may be dysregulated in CP/CPPS due to the upregulation of microRNAs (Fig. 3C.2).
