Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves showed an area under the curve (AUC) >90.0% for KPNA2, DTL, BACE2, DTYMK, E2F3 and SLC25A13, >80.0% for CCNA2, FOXM1, KIF4A, SLC45A2, COPS8, SLC45A13 and 70.0% for CDC25A and LINC00520; all significantly discriminating melanoma from benign nevi. The gene discussed is FOXM1; the disease is melanoma.
