The involvement of MLL1 in the FOXQ1 complex, the significant co-occupation (62%) of FOXQ1, RbBP5, and H3K4me3 in the promoter region of targeted genes, and the enrichment of co-activated genes in the EMT program promoted us to investigate how FOXQ1 recruits the MLL complex to the promoter region in regulating the EMT program, which could potentially contribute to tumor progression. The gene discussed is KMT2A; the disease is neoplasm.
