By quantifying the tract lengths of dual-colored fibers, we found that PFN1 knockdown significantly decreased DNA replication speed in multiple human cell lines including MCF-10A, HEK293T, HeLa and breast cancer MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 (Fig. 1e, f, Supplementary Fig. 1b and Supplementary Fig. 1c). This evidence concerns the gene PFN1 and breast carcinoma.
