These pathways included those related to proteoglycans in cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, malaria, Th17 cell differentiation, cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, FoxO signaling pathway, the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, protein processing in the endoplasmic reticulum, inflammatory bowel disease, the NF-κB signaling pathway, and growth hormone synthesis, secretion, and action (Fig. 6C). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and inflammatory bowel disease.
