FN1 and renal cell carcinoma: FN1 is indeed a glycoprotein that plays significant part in cell proliferation and migration in several processes, including embryogenesis, wound repair, blood clotting, host immunity, and metastasis. The expression of the FN1 protein in the cytoplasm of RCC patients is linked to a greater disease-related death rate, suggesting that it may play a role in RCC progression.
