Although the roles of IgE in psoriasis pathogenesis remain unclear (188), the high levels of IgE in psoriasis (Figure 2) have become evident, as shown from numerous clinical and experimental studies of patients with chronic plaque psoriasis, erythrodermic psoriasis, generalized herpetic psoriasis, and psoriasis with comorbid arthropathy (50, 79, 80, 82–84).
