The results of the present study suggest that there were significant differences in the levels of serum IgE and bradykinin in children with PNS at first onset, remission, and relapse and in the levels of histamine at first onset and remission, suggesting that allergic inflammatory mediators in the plasma of children with PNS might be involved in the pathogenesis of NS in children. This evidence concerns the gene KNG1 and paraneoplastic neurologic syndrome.
