Interestingly, similar to ARF−/− MEFs with increased expression of Aurora B, MDA-MB-231 cells stably expressing untagged Aurora B in response to tetracycline, as well as MCF7 breast cancer cells stably expressing Aurora B tagged with the mNeonGreen version of GFP at the C-terminus in response to tetracycline, also exhibited improved growth in response to ZM447439 at both the population and single cell levels (Figures 4L–O). Here, AURKB is linked to breast cancer.
