PSMA is overly abundant on the surface of PC epithelial cells and thus has been used as a successful target for PC management.82 Interestingly, PSMA is expressed on the surface of endothelial cells in the tumor neovasculature in many other types of cancers, including breast, lung, gastric, colorectal, pancreatic and renal cell carcinoma, and bladder cancers. The gene discussed is FOLH1; the disease is urinary bladder cancer.
