CD4 and systemic lupus erythematosus: Compared with controls, SLE patients present an increased expression of EZH2 in PBMCs (Wu et al., 2021), neutrophils, monocytes, B cells, and CD4+T cells (Rohraff et al., 2019), which may involve the activation of type I interferon signaling pathway and Notch signaling pathway (Amsen et al., 2004; Ciofani and Zuniga-Pflucker, 2005; Cruickshank and Ulgiati, 2010; Zhao et al., 2016; Huang et al., 2017; Arima et al., 2018; Wu et al., 2021).
