In the rat model, SchB might alleviate the damage of inflammatory response to nerve cells during cerebral ischemia-reperfusion via regulating the HSPA12B/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway (Jiang et al., 2016), indicating that SchB could inhibit the secondary inflammatory response after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and Cerebral ischemia.
