We compared the RNA transcriptomes of asthma patients before and after treatment with ICS/LABAs, and found downregulation in the ligand-dependent nuclear receptor transcription coactivator activity, N-acyltransferase (NAT) activity, protein tyrosine kinase activity, ligand-dependent nuclear receptor, RNA polymerase II-activating transcription factor, and SH3/SH2, which are regulated by transcriptional adaptor 3 (TADA3), SLA2, and interferon alpha-inducible protein 27 (IFI27) genes. The gene discussed is SLA2; the disease is asthma.
