A study of Hollande et al. also found that the increased IL-33 expression level in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue contributes to the differentiation and proliferation of eosinophils and promotes the expression of chemokine CCL11 in cancer cells, inducing the recruitment of eosinophils into tumors and subsequent inhibition of tumor growth [37].
