We identified a median IFN-γ level (reflecting whole COVID virus-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell response) of 0.60 IU/ml (0.30, 1.56) in healthy controls; however, the magnitude of the RA patients’ response was 0.16 IU/ml (0.04, 0.94) (Table 1). In the whole study population we found that the COVID-specific T-cell mediated immune response was age dependent. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and rheumatoid arthritis.
