Surgery combined with chemotherapy can achieve a good prognosis for children with low-risk (2) or intermediate-risk NB (3, 4). For high-risk NB, although combined surgery (5, 6), chemotherapy (5, 7), radiotherapy (5), immunotherapy (8–11), bone marrow transplantation (5) and other treatments, the prognoses of these patients remain poor (8). According to the revised NB risk classification system promulgated by Children’s Oncology Group in 2021, MYCN amplification is the most important biological factor affecting the risk staging of NB (12). This evidence concerns the gene MYCN and neuroblastoma.
