As a potential oncogene, small nucleolar RNA host gene 6 (SNHG6) is involved in the initiation and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma, and SNHG6 functions as an oncogene in GC cells by post-transcriptionally mediating and transcriptionally silencing miR-101-3p/ZEB1 via recruiting EZH2 to the promoter of p27 (Yan et al., 2017). The gene discussed is SNHG6; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
