CXCL9 has been reported to be upregulated in inflammatory colitis [42], and the increased CXCL9 expression was obviously associated with the survival and prognosis of patients with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary arterial hypertension (CTEPAH) [43].
