CHEK2 and cancer: In prior work evaluating AZD0156, a more robust suppression of P-RAD50 and P-CHK2 is demonstrated with the addition of AZD0156 to radiation than is seen in this data, though difficult to interpret in the setting of a different source of DNA damage (radiation vs chemotherapy) and a different cancer cell type (FaDu squamous cell hypopharyngeal cancer cells) [5].
