Compared with the healthy control group, CD3+INF-γ+ cells (% of T cells) and CD4+CD8−INF-γ+ cells (% of Th) were significantly decreased in the CRC group (25.8 [18.1–43.7] vs. 43.4 [33.3–52.8], P = 0.004; 13.6 (8.9–18.4) vs. 21.5 (15.5–28.0), P = 0.004). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
