However, the prognosis of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has improved because of recent development of different targeted therapies to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation, anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusion etc. Nowadays, tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) has been standard of care for initial management of EGFR mutation. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
