TNF and glioma: Lussier DM, et al, illustrated there was no difference in the percentage of tumor-infiltrating NK cells in glioma from mice fed a ketogenic diet compared to standard diet while tumor-infiltrating NK cells produce significantly more IFN-γ and TNF (49), which indicated that alleviating immune suppression, boosting tumor-reactive immune responses or IFN-γ instead of amount of NK cells might have positive implications in treatment.
