TPX2 is overexpressed in esophageal cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, colon cancer, bladder cancer, clear cell renal carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, ovarian carcinoma, breast cancer, and neuroblastoma, and its degree of expression has been associated with poor prognoses [23–32]. The gene discussed is TPX2; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
