In NSCLC cell lines, a substantial apoptotic response and potential antiangiogenic efficacy of miR-143 and miR-506 combinatorial therapy has been found, which also induces cell cycle arrest at the G1/S and G2/M phase transition by suppressing Cyclin Dependent Kinases (i.e., CDK1, CDK4 and CDK6) [249]. This evidence concerns the gene CDK6 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
