Predominantly, three histological subtypes—usual SCC (1), warty-basaloid (11), and basaloid (13)—followed by papillary-basaloid (10) and clear cell carcinoma (14) were characterized by a high amount of S100A8+S100A9+CD15+ cases, particularly if HPV+ (Supplementary Figure 6), and with lymph node involvement (pN1-3; Supplementary Figure 5). This evidence concerns the gene FUT4 and clear cell adenocarcinoma.
