Within this Kawasaki-like disease, termed Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in children (MIS-C), autoantibodies targeting a range of antigens including, but not limited to, anti-La, anti-Jo-1, anti-MUC15, anti-P2RX4, anti-MAP2K2 and anti-CSNK1A1 have been reported (Consiglio et al., 2020; Gruber et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene SSB and COVID-19–associated multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children.
