The hypothesis that SRPK1 was experimentally proven to be a cisplatin resistance-related protein in the YT cell line based on the results of a cisplatin killing experiment (Fig. 6); thus, we postulate that the discrepant results between these studies may be due to intrinsic differences between different types of tissue/cells and/or differences in the expression of targeted genes regulated by SRPK1 through RNA splicing in different types of cancer. This evidence concerns the gene SRPK1 and cancer.
